Asiwa Police Commander shot at Nsuta
The Police Commander was shot in what appeared to be an ambush
Information reaching Adomonline.com indicates that, the Police Commander
for Asiwa in the Ashanti region has been gun down at Nsuta.
According to reports, he had gone to Nsuta on a fact finding mission in
connection with the butchering of a 59-year-old farmer in the area when
the incident occurred.
However, upon reaching the outskirt of the town, there was a roadblock so his security escort got down to find out the reason.
Immediately he got down, gun shots were fired from the bush hitting the Asiwa Police Commander and his driver.
Luv FM’s Erastus Asare Donkor who is following the story said he is in a
critical condition at the Komfo Anokye Teaching hospital.
His driver who also sustained gunshot wounds is also on admission at the same hospital.
